Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 11, 2026
The Switchboard Collective LLC (“Olivet,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you use the Olivet website, mobile application, and related services.
Olivet is designed so the most honest parts of your life never become someone else’s product. We do not sell personal information, and we do not collect browsing history.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: email address and identifiers used to sign in.
- Profile and personalization information: optional details you provide to shape guidance and support.
- Device and usage data: app events, feature settings, crash or diagnostic signals, and basic device information needed to operate the Service.
- Filter credentials: if you turn on the optional URL Filter, we store a hashed installation credential, the related account and installation identifiers, the environment (development or production), and any revocation time. We do not store the sites you visit.
- Payment information: subscription records handled by payment processors such as Stripe or Apple.
- Communications: messages, feedback, and support requests you send us.
2. URL Filter
On supported devices, Olivet can offer an optional system URL Filter to help reduce exposure to sites on our blocklist. You choose whether to enable it. It is not a VPN, MDM profile, or parental-control product, and it is not turned on by creating an account.
When the filter is enabled, lookups use Apple’s Network Extension URL Filter, Private Information Retrieval, Privacy Pass, and Oblivious HTTP. Those protocols are designed so that neither Olivet nor Apple learns which URL a particular person looked up. The Olivet app does not receive the addresses being checked.
The blocklist is a list we prepare when we build the filter service. It is not a live log of your browsing. Encrypted filter traffic may pass through Apple’s Oblivious HTTP relay and our filter servers without revealing the underlying URL to us.
You can turn the filter off in iOS settings or from Olivet. It can stay enabled after you sign out until you disable it. We retain the hashed credential until you revoke it, delete your account, or we remove it for security or operational reasons.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to operate Olivet, personalize support, provision and authorize optional filter credentials, maintain safety and security, process payments, respond to support requests, improve the product, and comply with legal obligations.
4. How We Share Information
We share information only with providers who help us operate Olivet, such as infrastructure, analytics, email, payment, and AI providers, or when required for legal, safety, or business-transfer reasons. We do not share browsing history because we do not collect it.
5. Your Choices and Rights
You may update or delete account information where supported, opt out of marketing emails, control browser cookies, enable or disable the URL Filter, and request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction where applicable law gives you those rights.
